FREEDIVING
Freediving is a form of underwater diving that relies on breath-holding until resurfacing rather than the use of breathing apparatus such as scuba gear. Free diving may be a hobby for some, a competitive sport for others
and an inner journey for those willing to dive within.
Freediving is about feelings. Feel the beauty and the silence of the underwater world, it offers us happiness from experiencing
nothing more than a single breath!
STATIC APNEA AND
COMPETITIVE FREEDIVING
Static apnea (STA) is a discipline in which a person holds their breath underwater for a length of time. For competitions, athletes lie face-down in the water holding their breath for as long as possible.
Although it may seem as simple as lying face down in the water, STA is actually one of the more technical disciplines. The breathe-up is important in helping the diver to establish a state of relaxation and to ensure that they begin the hold with exactly the right amounts of Oxygen and Carbon Dioxide in the blood.
Complete physical and mental relaxation is necessary for a good static breath-hold. During these sessions, personalized relaxation and meditation techniques are designed to meet your needs.
