Beatriz Minguez (Bea), is a world traveler who is always seeking calm,
clear waters. For her it’s always been the means to connect and communicate with the Unknown.

 

Bea grew up in Madrid, always dreaming of living by the water. She fell in love with the sea life
while learning scuba diving in Hawaii. She later moved to Miami, Florida and turned
this hobby into a passion which led her journey further into sharing it with others
by becoming a SCUBA diving instructor. 

 

Her other passions, health and wellness, led her to study many forms of art and
healing, receiving her B.A. in Visual Arts and Computer Graphics Animation, and finishing
her schooling in several therapies:  Reflexology, Neuromuscular Therapy, Ashtanga yoga teacher,
Spiritual healer in the Shadhili Sufi way, as well as acquiring her Masters in Holistic Nutrition and Natural Health.

Her ongoing education has her pursuing the natural ways of returning to our original state
of being. In this process of returning to the simple way of living, in 2015, Bea got certified with SSI as a Freediving Instructor. The last few years she uses PADI and Molchanov teaching systems. Currently, Bea has created a unique form of teaching/coaching,
where she combines all her education and experience. 

 

Bea has trained with world leading free divers such as Alexey Molchanov, Davide Carrera and Miguel Lozano. She has coached the current Egyptian woman
national record holder in static as well as other professional free divers from Kuwait, Cuba,
Germany, India, and Spain. Although she does not consider herself a competitive
free diver, to better understand a competitor's mind, Bea was part of two competitions
in Spain and won three Gold medals in STATIC and Dynamic disciplines in the
OPEN APNEA INDOOR Madrid 2016, and a bronze medal
in STA in the Spain Championship APNEA INDOOR 2018.

In 2020 Bea developed in and is currently the director of the Emotional stress management program through freediving static breath-work for the Firemen department team in Madrid. In her holistic wellness practice, she has worked with renowned businessmen ,Dwayne Wade, Julio Iglesias, Jared Leto and many others.

 

By now, Bea has lived, travelled and worked in the waters of USA,
the Caribbean Islands, Mexico, Costa Rica, the Pacific, Thailand,
Morocco, Egypt, Andaman, and the Mediterranean.
